A nationwide lockdown has been imposed on the country in order to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Owing to which, all shops barring the shops selling essentials have been shut down. Taking advantage of the situation, a group of miscreants broke into a wine shop and stole liquor on April 2.

The incident took place at Malad, north Mumbai, India.

The incident of the robbery came to light after the entire robbery was captured on the CCTV cameras installed in the shop.

The visuals show two people broke into the shop and then began searching for alcohol. The duo was successful in filling the bottles in a sack. However, a sound outside the shop startled them and they ran away without picking up the sack. They took 2-3 bottles in their hands and escaped the scene.

The police are in search of the thieves with the help of the CCTV footage.
