A man was rescued by firefighters in southern India after falling into a 50-foot-deep well on Wednesday (June 24).

The man had fallen into the well and shouted for help when a few villagers who spotted him inside and informed firefighters.

Firefighters secured the man with rope and managed to pull him to safety.

The man was taken to the hospital by ambulance where he was admitted to intensive care and is under observation by doctors.

The rescue team arrived at near the well to bring the man out of it. The firefighter first ties him using the rope and his other team members pulls him up to safety.

He was then transferred into an ambulance where was taken to Mannapparai government hospital. the man was admitted into intensive care and is still under observation by doctors as of this morning
