This is the hilarious moment a terrified girl clung to a tree to escape from a wild pig.

Sarah Amano was hiking with friends in O’ahu, Hawaii, when she came across the aggressive animal on July 15.

The woman scampered up a tree while the dirty hog sniffed around her feet - refusing to move to allow her to climb down.

Sarah's friend Aris recorded a video while two of her other friends laughed at her awkward situation.

Sarah said: "It looks high but it was not. The boar was terrifying and I was afraid it would attack me as soon as I climbed down.''

The wild pig was eventually shooed away by Sarah's friends and disappeared into the bushes.
