This is the dramatic moment Thai police raided an underage sex party that was allegedly organised over Twitter.

Officers stormed the seedy resort on Thursday night (Aug 13) after discovering that the sick orgies were allegedly being negotiated through direct messages on the social media platform.

They arrested Cambodian transgender woman Wan Jo, 29, who had rented the room and installed a disco light while she waited for the 'customer', which had been planned with an undercover police. Several bottles of beer and sex toys were also scattered around the room.

Three Thai girls all under the age of 18 were rescued from the property and taken into care before being questioned by officers.

Officers said the suspect had posted explicit content on Twitter in order to garner interest from men before offering them paid-for sex parties with young girls. They used direct messages to plan the meetings.

Ronnarong Thipsiri, Director of the Law Enforcement Operations Center, oversaw the raid at the Le Min Resort in Sa Kaeo province, in eastern Thailand, around 200km from Bangkok.

The police chief said: ''Human trafficking is a serious crime, it violates human rights. This problem has been going on in the country for many years, especially child trafficking.''

Ronnarong asked people to act as "eyes and ears" and if they have information about alleged crimes, to inform officials.

The official said the raid came after a tip-off from a member of the public. Officers from The Damrongtham Centre of the Ministry of Interior found that the alleged sex ring was being run by a Cambodia transgender woman.

Wan Joe allegedly used her Twitter account to advertise sexual services by posting pornography. She also allegedly communicated with her clients using the direct message in the Twitter application.

Police said an undercover agent contacted Wan Joe through her online account. The host then began to send several pictures of girls who appeared to be underage and offered the agent a group sex party at a hotel.

The alleged victims are currently under a temporary child protection process and their identity was concealed.

Police said that Wan Jo would be questioned and charged with human trafficking for child sexual exploitation, engaging in prostitution for persons under 18 years old, engaging in obscenity on persons over 15 but less than 18 years old, encouraging children to behave inappropriately, and bringing explicit images into a computer system where the public may have access.
