Chinese residents get trapped in lift after drunk man violently kicks it
Residents got trapped in a broken lift after a drunk man violently kicked it in southeastern China.
The video, filmed in the city of Ganzhou in Jiangxi Province on August 17, shows a drunk man and woman falling onto the floor in front of the lifts.
After the drunk man stood up, he used his fist to hit the lift doors as well as kicking them violently.
In another clip, the lift suddenly shook and stopped, causing four men inside getting trapped.
After the property management staff arrived and opened the lift doors, the trapped four men climbed out one after another.
According to reports, the drunk man named Lai and his sister went back to their residential community after drinking. Since Lai was drunk, he lost his temper, tried to stop other residents from using the lift and kicked it.
Police have arrested Lai and they are going hand him over to the court and sue him.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
