Deepak Mehta, a teacher from Gujarat, western India is going above and beyond for his students.

Mehta has transformed his car - nicknamed Shiksha Rath or Education Chariot - into a moving digital school, equipped with an LED TV, Bluetooth, speakers, inverters and WI-FI, where he moves from one remote area to another, teaching students daily from 9 a.m. to noon.

He said: "Students living in villages don’t have access to the internet, so as a teacher, it's my duty to teach students in my area."

Due to Covid -19 most of the schools are closed and students are not able to go to school for studies , most of the schools are preferring online studies . But this online studies are not possible for every students as students living in the remote area are either don’t have good mobile phones or they face network issue .
But for students of Mandvi area in Kutch district in Gujrat this is not a problem as they are lucky to have a teacher who go in every area of his village daily to teach the students .
Teacher Deepak Mehta has customized his car in a Moving digital school , he fitted one LED TV , Bluetooth , Speakers , Inverters , WI-FI and many other featured in his car . He teaches students daily from 9 AM – 12 noon . He moves from one area to another to teach students .
Deepak says that students living in villages don’t have access to internet so as a teacher its my duty to teach students in my area . He has named his car as ‘Shiksha Rath’ ( Education Chariot )
