A plastic waste bank in Indonesia's Tangerang is educating children about pollution by encouraging them to bring their waste at the bank.

The children are taught about how to process plastic and kitchen waste as well as how the waste is then turned into 'ecobricks'. The bricks are used to make fish ponds and hydroponic containers.

these children bring plastic waste from their homes. they will deposit the plastic in the garbage bank. Besides, they will be educated on how to process plastic and kitchen waste. kitchen waste will be processed into compost. plastic waste is processed into ecobricks and blocks. the compost will become organic fertilizer for ornamental plants or secondary crops. The ecobrick will be used to make fish ponds and hydroponic containers.
