A drunk motorist luckily survived after his car was crushed by a coach on a road in southern China.

The video, shot in the city of Ganzhou in Jiangxi Province on October 4, shows a white car drifting out of its lane and crashing head-on into a coach with 33 passengers on it.

In the still pictures, the side of the white car was shaved off and the motorist named Wu was stuck in the car.

After Wu was freed from the car, he was sent to hospital for treatment.

Wu suffered several fractures to his body but he was not in life-threatening condition. Two people on the bus have minor injuries.

According to reports, Wu was driving under the influence and misoperated when he encountered the coach.

The case is under further investigation.

2020年10月4日16时17分许，江西赣州， 206国道会昌县周田镇路段发生一起交通事故，一辆小轿车与一辆客运车辆发生碰撞，事故造成小轿车驾驶人受伤、两车不同程度受损。
交警经过调查，事发时，吴某（男，45岁，会昌县周田镇人）驾驶赣B267D8白色比亚迪小轿车由南往北行驶，途径会昌县周田镇河墩村路段时，驾车行驶偏离车道越过中心线，与相对方向范某（男，49岁，寻乌县人）驾驶的赣B56857大型客车（车辆隶属寻乌县汽运公司）相撞。事故造成小轿车严重变形、损坏，驾驶人吴某受困，后被救援人员施救后送医。
事发时，大客车上共有33人（车辆核载35人），车上两人受轻微伤。小轿车上仅吴某一人，经医院诊断，吴某左股骨、锁骨粉碎性骨折，肋骨7处骨折，还有5处其他部位骨折，所幸无生命危险。
经初查，事故发生原因为小车驾驶人吴某在事发路段行驶，遇前方同向车辆时操作不当，车辆越过道路中心线，驶入对向车道，从而与相对方向来车相撞。
经过司法鉴定，吴某血液中酒精含量达到119.7mg/100ml，属于醉酒驾驶。案件还在进一步调查处理中。视频由江西台提供
