A 13-year-old boy set fire on the top of a building in southern China.

In the video, shot in the city of Liuzhou in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on October 31, a boy is seen pouring a bottle of petrol out on the building roof before lighting a plastic bag and throwing towards the liquid.

Massive flames then emerged with thick black smoke rising into the air.

A resident informed the property management after spotting the fire and then they called the police.

After the police arrived, they extinguished the fire and took the boy to the police station.

According to reports, the boy took a bottle of petrol that his father was about to add into his motorcycle onto the building roof and lit it out of curiosity.

Police have told off the boy and his parents.

10月31日，广西柳州，位于桂中大道87号柳福雅居2单元2栋的楼顶，发生一起13岁男孩纵火事件。

记者从监控视频中看到，一名身穿条纹T恤、戴眼镜的男孩在房屋天台将一瓶汽油倒了出来，随后将一个塑料袋点燃扔向地面，汽油接触火源后瞬间点燃，并伴有大量浓烟涌出。

小区居民发现这一情况后，迅速将情况通报给物业，物业拨打了110报警。
，记者来到柳福雅居2栋2单元30楼的楼顶天台看到，大火将居民放在阳台晾晒的凉席烧黑，装汽油的塑料瓶已被烧融化。
当天下午，市公安局城中分局桂中派出所民警出警后，立即将火扑灭，并将纵火男孩带回派出所。

据悉，男孩今年刚满13岁，当天下午因为好奇，就把父亲放在家中准备加到摩托车里的汽油瓶拿到楼顶上点燃。事情发生后，民警对男孩及其家长进行了教育。
