A massive fire broke out at a scenic spot in southern China.

Video filmed in the city of Liuzhou in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on February 25 shows huge flames engulfing a building at Xianrenshan Scenic Area.

Nearby people were seen running away with their belongings.

According to a local government official, they received a report of the fire at around 6 pm and the flames were extinguished in less than an hour.

Fortunately, there were no casualties reported.

The wooden buildings that caught on fire were not ancient architecture but newly constructed tea exhibitions and trading areas.

According to preliminary investigation, the fire may have been caused by a nearby villager burning fields.

2月25日，柳州市三江侗族自治县八江镇布央仙人山景区发生火灾。现场视频显示，视频上，布央村的长廊建筑燃着熊熊大火，现场有人员惊慌逃避，多辆机动车陷入大火。
三江县八江镇镇政府一名工作人员说，晚上6点左右接到群众火情报警的，大火不到一个小时就扑灭了。目前并没有人员伤亡。着火的长廊建筑并非古建筑，是这几年才修建的。这次着火的木房子有十多间，属于茶叶展示交易区，平常没有人居住。初步调查，是有村民在附近田埂烧火，造成长廊着火。
