Kindergarten teacher detained after throwing pupil onto floor in northern China
A kindergarten teacher was detained after throwing one of her pupils onto the floor when he was playing with a chair in northern China.
The video, filmed in the city of Xi'an in Shaanxi Province on December 11, shows a teacher named Hou walking to a boy who was playing with a chair and then throwing him onto the floor before throwing the chair at him.
The boy suffered a contusion to his chin and had eight stitches to treat the injury.
After receiving a report from the boy's parents, police have started to investigate the case and the teacher will be detained for 15 days.
