This is the hilarious moment a chameleon clung to a car's moving windscreen wiper - stubbornly refusing to leave.

Driver Rendy Wardhany, 22, was shocked when the 12-inch-long reptile scampered onto the windshield of his car in East Java Province, Indonesia, November 12.

The chameleon perched on the wiper while the vehicle was waiting at an intersection. Rendy then activated the wiper control lever to force the chameleon off but it clung on.

Rendy said: "I was surprised when I saw the little critter. It looked so cute and did not want to leave.''

The driver stopped recording and reached out of the window to shake the chameleon away. It quickly dropped off and scampered away into the nearby bushes.
