32 tourists had to walk down the track after a roller coaster got stuck at the Nanjing Happy Valley theme park in eastern China on December 28.

Footage shows where the roller coaster got stuck while ascending the course and tourists having to walk back down from dizzying heights.

No injuries were reported and Nanjing Happy Valley issued an apology on the same day.

After the preliminary investigation, the incident occurred due to a fault with the external substation.

The tourists were all issued a refund by the theme park and had their tickets rescheduled for another day.

The video was provided by local media.
