A driver of a container lorry nearly ran over two men in Kerala, India on December 25.

The visuals captured show the men miraculously escaping in the last-second as the lorry crashes.

The driver said the lorry went out of control after the gear slipped into neutral. A dog which was closeby also bolted to safety.

Driver of a container lorry tried to stop on the side of the road after crossing a check post at Walayar in Kerala, India (Kerala-Tamil Nadu border check post). But he lost control and ran over the payment. Two men who were talking to each other on the pavement saw the lorry at the last minute and escaped dramatically. The lorry came to a halt after hitting a shop which sold lottery tickets. It also ran over a motorcycle but no one was injured in the incident fortunately, said a police officer at Walayuru station. He said the lorry went out of control after the gear slipped into neutral and the driver failed to apply brakes on time. A dog which was closeby also bolted to safety. This incident happened on December 25.
