Vintage Locomotive Gets New Colours

A 1936 Japanese steam locomotive built by Kawasaki gets a cosmetic restoration. The engine served on the Death Railway at the River Kwai during WW2, then with the State Railway of Thailand. Unseen for 20 years,it was rediscovered in a decaying condition on a remote hillside in Chiangmai province in 2012. A new owner plans to use it as an attraction at a resort near Chiang Mai.
