Paramedics stop vehicles entering Chinese city to check motorists' temperature amid COVID-19
Paramedics stopped vehicles entering northern China's Shijiazhuang City on a highway to check the motorists' temperature after a number of new COVID-19 cases were reported.
The video, shot in the morning of January 6, shows paramedic workers and police officers setting up a check point on the highway to stop the vehicles entering the city.
According to reports, 117 new coronavirus cases were reported over the previous four days.
The city's coach terminus was temporally closed as all workers are needed to be tested for coronavirus and all tickets bought online and valid from January 6 will be refunded within five working days.
Vehicles on highways were persuaded to drive back, while 11 million residents are going to be tested in just three days from Wednesday (January 6).
The video was provided by local media with permission.
