Driverless car slides along busy road and knocks over motorcyclists in China
A driverless car slid along a road after the motorist forgot to pull the handbrake, knocking over a pair of motorcyclists in northern China.
The CCTV video, filmed in the county of Yuanqu in Shanxi Province on January 22, shows a black car moving slowly in the middle of a busy road and other vehicles trying to avoid it.
The black car then bumped into a motorbike with two people on it when it was waiting for a traffic light.
Kind-hearted passersby then stopped the car together.
Police found the car driver by searching the license plate number in their system.
The car driver arrived on site quickly and said that he did not know of the incident at all.
The driver forgot to pull the handbrake when leaving the car, causing the incident.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
