Construction work was being carried out on the site of a new tower block in Bangkok, Thailand, this morning (Feb 14).

The plot of land on the corner of the Sukhumvit Road Soi 7 has been sitting empty for six years.

JLK Holdings from Taiwan purchased the 4,800 square metre patch of land for 1.1 million baht (then around 34,000 USD) per square metre in 2019. They will now develop a 31-storey office block with a lettable area of 35,000 square metres.

The finished project will sit in a prime location on Sukhumvit Road – close to brass and restaurants – offering Grade A offices for rent with internal staircases for double floor tenants. It will also have a direct link to Nana BTS station and lower floor retail units.

Fortune 500 listed American company Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated will work with JLK Holdings on the project to provide commercial real estate services, property management snd maintenance.
