Orphaned albino elephant Khanyisa enjoying her milk bottle from her trusted carer, Herman
Khanyisa is an orphaned albino elephant rescued in January 2020 from a horrific snare. This video was taken three months after - when her wounds from the snare had started healing completely and shortly before she started integrating with her new family, the Jabulani herd. Herman is one of her dedicated carers that she has a very close relationship with. He is a wonderful part of the HERD Team, and works so well with orphaned elephants.
