A bizarre video has emerged from China of a poodle dressed like a human girl walking elegantly on its back legs.

In the footage, filmed in Sichuan Province on Monday, the dog can be seen wearing shoes, a skirt, scarf and cap and a bag while walked in a park, looking around at the watching public.

According to local reports, the one-year-old dog named Yin De Ping belongs to a client of a professional dog trainer Mr Zhu, who is now training it to walk like this.

According to the trainer, Yin De Ping can now walk on two legs for around two kilometres while carrying its own dog food in the bag.
