A motorist had to be rescued after foolishly attempting to navigate through a river crossing in Uzbekistan.

The footage filmed on April 29 shows the Jeep driver through the river but the vehicle isn't able to cope with the strong currents.

Olga Kuzmina, the filmer, said: "Our driver in Uzbekistan turned out to be an extreme guy and decided to show how he would cross the river against the current. He ended up drowning his car.

"We were able to revive the car after changing the oil and pumping water from the front and rear axles."

'There's a fine line, called consequences, between confidence and overconfidence and this clip provides an example of the same.

In this video, Olga Kuzmina records her driver attempting to cross a river against a current in a jeep. And it goes without saying that the car ends up getting stuck in the middle of the stream and starts drowning. And just when everyone begins to think that things couldn't get worse, water starts accumulating in the vehicle.

Fortunately, a truck comes to the filmer's rescue and pulls the jeep out of the river.
