Flooding and landslides triggered by heavy rain have swept across Nepal, leaving 11 dead and many injured according to officials.

On Tuesday evening (June 15), the Melamchi River began to flood, damaging the village of Melamchighyange, with footage filmed by local resident Deep Kiran showing building foundations submerged in river water.

Deep Kiran, who filmed this video, commented that "I was working at my fish farm and it's still unknown what exactly happened, but there was a large landslide in the village, and there was sudden heavy flow of water due to this the farm , fish farm all washed up , but I can see my house from far upright there standing."
