South African police observed as anti-vaccine protesters breached the country's Covid 19 lockdown regulations. In terms of the level 3 regulations, no public gatherings of more than 50 people are allowed and everyone has to wear a mask when in public areas.

The protesters gathered outside the Groote Schuur hospital to protest their objections to being vaccinated and to wearing masks and other lockdown regulations. Most protesters did not wear masks.

Debbie Els, leader of the Stop Farm Murders movement addressed protesters and claimed that President Cyril Ramaphosa couldn't prove in court that the Coronavirus existed.
