'Jaw-dropping aerial view of colossal cooling towers being demolished in Ironbridge (December 6, 2019)'
'On December 6, 2019, the decommissioned Ironbridge Power Station's four coolers were destroyed via the use of explosives.
This aerial footage, shot on Mavic 2 Pro by Chris Tidmarsh, shows the said demolition activity going down, resulting in the towers crumbling to the ground.
Chris said: "Having been aware of the impending destruction of the Ironbridge power station cooling towers, I made a few trips to Ironbridge to get some aerial photos and quickly decided I would go back the day they were being demolished."
The filmer further stated: "I thought about getting a close shot of them [the towers] getting destroyed and capturing all the dust and debris stemming from the explosion. It's the reason I bought a drone in the first place, to capture things we normally wouldn't be able to."
Name: Chris Tidmarsh
Location: Ironbridge, Shropshire, United Kingdom'
