A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck Greece on October 19 with tremors being felt as far away as Egypt.

Footage shows a chandelier in a home in Egypt swaying from the strength of the quake. Other countries in the eastern Mediterranean area, including Syria, Turkey, and Israel also reportedly felt the force of the shaking.

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) said the earthquake hit 208 kilometres off Rhodes City at 1:32 in the afternoon.

It is still unclear if it caused any injuries or casualties.
