Watermain Break, Strong Mount Carmel Township, Pennsylvania
Shortly before 6am on 11/14/2021 Mount Carmel Township Fire Police and Strong Fire Company were alerted for a traffic control detail in the area of Turkey hill (119 front street) in Strong.
As units went responding they were advised of an active water main break that was starting to flood the intersection downhill.
Attack 25 from Strong took the intersection of 54 & 61 blocking the flooding lane as units from fire police slowed traffic coming down the mountain due to debris and water taking over one of the lanes of travel.
Around 8am units were released and the scene was turned over to Aqua who began to dig up near the break to fix the pipe.
