Wild Sloth Moves Across Grass, Climbs Tree - Rare Moving Sloth - Cahuita, Costa Rica

Buy video

Sloths only come down from their trees once a week, for their weekly poop. My daughter and I were lucky enough to witness this 3-toed sloth in Cahuita, Costa Rica, slowly climbing down a tree. Once the sloth got to the bottom of the tree and pooped, they sped up, as seen in this video, walking on all fours toward a different tree. I made sure to stay far back to give the sloth space. This happened at Playa Negra in Cahuita, Costa Rica. I have some other videos of the sloth from that same day, so please check them out.
