Huge gas ship arrives from the USA to supply UK with gas off Kent
Huge gas ship 'Energy Endeavour' transported a cargo of gas from Sabine Pass, US to the Isle of Grain, Kent, UK this afternoon (5 April) as Brits face an ongoing energy crisis.
The nearly 300 metre long vessel was seen passing Garrison Point Fort, Sheerness moments prior to berthing at the National Grid's Grain LNG facility, as captured by this footage.
The gas is transported as LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) which makes the gas safer and more efficient to transport.
Due to the ongoing Ukraine war, there has been an increased number of gas ships travelling all the way from the USA to supply the UK and other parts of Europe.
