Man drives excavator to transport hundreds of residents through floods in China
A man drove an excavator to transport hundreds of residents through floods caused by a rainstorm in central China.
Video filmed in the city of Anyang in Henan Province on July 5 shows a man named Wang driving an excavator to transport residents through deep floodwater.
Wang said to Henan Television that his company organised the rescue work and he drove the excavator to transport residents to shallower areas for free, from around 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
The deepest part of the floodwater was more than one metre deep and Wang has helped more than 300 people.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
