Gusty winds battered tents at a flea market in Thailand.

Dark storm clouds loomed over a field where vendors stood their shops in Nakhon Si Thammarat province on July 12.

When strong winds blew, the shop owners covered their stalls with canopy while the customers retreated inside their cars.

Footage shows gusts pounding on the tent market and blowing away canopy off the stalls.

Shopper Apichaya Ingnai said: ‘The wind was very strong so the vendors temporarily closed their shops. Life must go on.'

The bad weather left no damage in the area.

Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia such as Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines are in the middle of their tropical monsoon rainy season, which lasts until October or November.
