This is the terrifying moment two paragliders in Colombia collided and became tangled before plummeting to earth.

Dramatic footage captured on February 11 shows Natalya Tsimerman flying hundreds of meters up above a rural area close to the capital.

Suddenly, another paraglider comes racing towards her and their wings collide and wrap around each other.

The pair begin to fall to earth as they work desperately to deploy their reserve chutes.

Fortunately, the male pilot manages to release his reserve and the two have a relatively soft landing in a field.

They were uninjured in the incident and embraced moment later before posing for a photo.

11 February 2022, Colombia

The girl paraglider Natalya chose the wrong flight path, as a result of which she collided in the sky with another paraglider. As a result, their parachutes became tangled. The man managed to release a reserve parachute, which saved them. Natalya also tried to open the parachute, but the handle of the spare tire caught on the line, so it did not open. Both paragliders landed in a soft field. No harm done. After the girl and the man hugged and took a joint photo.
