Steam train celebrates the King of Thailand's 70th birthday with a special excursion
A special steam train excursion ran from Bangkok to Ayutthaya for King Vajiralongkorn's 70th birthday on 28 July.
His Majesty became the king of Thailand on 13 October 2016.
There are two such locomotives in Thailand, manufactured in Japan by Nippon Sharyo.
Train Number 824 was made in 1949 and Number 850 in 1950.
The glorious old trains run on special royal anniversaries.
