However, in the same region at least one person was killed, three homes damaged, two garages burned, and power cut in Soledara, while shelling also hit Yakovlivka, Bakhmutsk, Avdiivka, and Konstantinivka. The Donetsk region is where some of the fiercest fighting in Ukraine is taking place as Russian troops look to slowly advance from the separatist regions they established a military presence in during their previous 2014 invasion.
