A magnitude 6.8 earthquake hit Taiwan on Sunday (September 18). One person died and nine people had minor injuries, according to authorities.

Eyewitness video shows merchandise knocked off shelves at a supermarket in Ruisui in Hualien County in eastern Taiwan and cracks appearing in a nearby road.

The video was captured by a local resident of Hualien County who gave his name as Zuola and shared with his permission.
