Two puppies were rescued after a woman found them in a bag left hanging on a tree in eastern China.

Video filmed in the city of Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province on October 16 shows a woman named Shi inspecting a plastic bag that was hanging on a tree. The puppies could be heard whining.

Shi found two pups in the bag.

The woman said she did not know why the puppies were left on the tree.

Since Shi had to go to work the next day, she took the puppies with her. She bought milk powder for the dogs and is taking care of them for the time being.
