This brave motorist drove through a submerged road after a rainstorm to reach a Buddhist temple in Thailand.

Footage shows daring driver Puyfai Dunlapong Aia navigating the narrow path on her way to the Rang Crocodile Temple in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province on November 13.

However, sections of the pavement were underwater as floods from the adjacent fields spilled over.

Puyfai said: 'The GPS led us down that route. We didn't know it was going to be so flooded.'

Meteorologists have blamed climate change for the sustained heavy rain, which has been hitting the Thai capital and provinces around the country causing severe floods for several weeks.

Thailand's Center for Climate Change and Disaster claimed the coming months could see heavier, longer rainfalls, due to 'climate change'.
