A Thai farmer makes his own sugar using coconut palm he harvested.
Footage shows the old man climbing up the tall branch to pick some of the heavy basketball-sized fruit in Loei province, Thailand on April 19.
He breaks each of them open and pours the juice out in buckets. It would then be boiled for hours on a large wook over wood fire.
The yield would reduce into thick, sweet syrup to be kept in small plastic jars.
Local Kittaporn Janpeng said: ‘That's the process of making coconut palm sugar. It's pure hardwork and takes long labour of love to finish.'
