A classroom ceiling leaked during a heavy summer storm in Thailand.

Footage shows rainwater trickling down and swamping the students' beds below at a school in Udon Thani province, Thailand, on June 9.

A teacher and her colleague inspected the room and found the mattress soaked before the structure gave in with a hole.

Teacher Nicha Simlee said: ‘We only found out that there was a leak when we passed by checking the rooms. Then we heard a loud noise.'

No one was hurt as the student-athletes were out in practice. The room is currently being repaired.

Thailand has recently entered its annual monsoon rainy season which sees soaring temperatures followed by powerful rain storms in the afternoon leading to widespread flash floods.
