Chinese man detained after brutally assaults sanitation worker
7月5日，广西玉林街头，一男子扯着环卫女工的头发，猛捶其头部。目击者称事发时环卫工人正在打扫卫生，扫把挥到男子的脚上，环卫工已经道歉，但男子不依不饶，动手打人，直到周边群众出面制止。事发后，被打的环卫工到东城派出所报警，民警称已经介入调查，会找到打人者对其进行处置。
7月5日晚上，玉林警方对此事进行了通报：
7月5日上午9时许，玉林市公安局东成派出所接到报警：环卫工人陈某在玉林市玉州区民主中路作业时不慎扫到一名过路男子的脚，该男子对其辱骂、殴打后逃离。接到报警后，东成派出所民警迅速出警处置，并于当日下午将违法嫌疑人梁某（60岁，玉林市玉州区人）抓获。目前，梁某已被依法处以行政拘留十日、罚款伍佰元的处罚。
