A herd of escaped cows rampaged through a wedding ceremony in Malaysia,

The cattle were grazing on the fields nearby and somehow wandered into the banquet in Sabah on June 17.

But the cheeky gatecrashing animals barged in and licked food off the guest's plates instead of shying away from the noise and crowd.

Footage shows the cows standing on the aisle between the tables. The women hugged and cowered on the corner while the creatures tasted the meals wrapped in banana leaves.

One of the guests Aditt said: ‘Everyone was having fun at the party when the cows arrived.

‘They wanted to taste the glutinous rice and didn't leave until they took a bite.'

After interrupting the party for a few moments, the local farmer helped keep the animal away from the ceremony.

Aditt added: ‘We still think the cows were a good omen. They brought blessings to the couple.'
