This is the shocking moment a 'traumatised' cow charged at a man and broke two of his ribs in Thailand.

The farm animal named Meeboon was being loaded into a truck to be moved from Nakhon Ratchasima province to another farm on January 24.

However, the bovine went on a rampage and attacked its caretaker while he was opening the home's gate.

Shocking footage shows Meeboon slamming its head into the elderly man, knocking him over as he was struck in the torso.

The cow's owner Prukpanom Pasasirawat said: 'Meeboon is a cow that was rescued from a slaughterhouse. He might have been spooked when he saw the truck, so he became aggressive.'

The man had two broken rib bones and was taken to a hospital.
