Russia says its MT-12 'Rapier' gun destroyed Ukrainian military positions
Russia has said its artillery crew of the MT-12 'Rapier' gun destroyed the Ukrainian military positions in the Vuhledar direction.
The footage shows Russian soldiers loading ammunition into the 100-mm anti-tank gun MT-12 'Rapier'.
The scene cuts, and explosions are shown on the battlefield, seemingly hitting the military positions in Ukraine.
The images were obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence on Thursday, September 1, along with a statement claiming: 'Crews of the MT-12 Rapira of the Vostok group continue to carry out combat missions in the Ugledar direction.'
The main targets for which the artillery crew of the MT-12 'Rapier' gun works are, as a rule, accumulations of manpower, dugouts and enemy strongholds.
The gun destroys targets at a distance of up to 8 km, both along a hinged trajectory and direct fire.
