These images show a Russian dugout being hit by fire from Ukrainian tanks near Zaporizhzhia.

The footage appears to show a Russian soldier walking on the battlefield before a soldier is seen at the entrance to a dugout.

The images then show the dugout being hit by Ukrainian ordnance in a large explosion.

The footage was obtained from the Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Oleksandr Pivnenko, on Monday, October 30, along with a statement saying: 'Tankers of the 'Chervona Kalyna' brigade of the National Guard skillfully destroyed the enemy's position in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

'Near the village of Verbovoy, aerial reconnaissance of the 'Chervona Kalyna' brigade detected activity in one of the landings.

'The enemy group settled under a sprawling tree and with the help of an anti-drone gun tried to plant a drone of our scouts.

'At this time, an experienced pilot quickly adjusted the tank's fire. The enemy position, along with all personnel, electronic warfare equipment and ammunition, was destroyed from the first shot.

'We continue to knock the enemy out of our land!'

The images and statement were also relayed by the National Guard of Ukraine.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, in what the Kremlin is still calling a 'special military operation'.
