PEOPLES MOVEMENT FOR CHANGE MARCHES ON CITY COUNCIL FOR EQUALITY AND BETTER SERVICE
A collective of residents in the City of Cape Town under the banner of the Peoples Movement for Change ( PMC) marched on the City of Cape Town earlier today.
Communities claim they are treated unfairly in terms of service delivery and access to economic opportunities. The PMC handed over a memorandum of demands to representatives of the office of the Mayor of Cape Town. The memorandum includes demands around high electricity tarrifs, unfair treatment of the informal trading sector and the management of the taxi industry in the Cape.
