Food blogger suffers burns in shocking flame accident at Chinese restaurant
A food blogger suffered burns in a shocking flame accident at a restaurant in eastern China.
The terrifying video was filmed in the city of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province on August 13.
A staff member in a restaurant recklessly added alcohol to an open flame, causing an instantaneous flare-up. The flash fire engulfed the food blogger, igniting her clothing in mere moments. The shocking incident resulted in burns across the woman's face, hands, and abdomen.
The husband of the injured woman revealed she was a professional food blogger and had been invited to the restaurant for a promotional shoot.
Hospital reports confirmed that the woman suffered second-degree burns in multiple areas across her body.
Fast forward to September 18, the restaurant in question addressed the horrific incident, stating that both parties had come to an agreement. The victim's family corroborated the statement, confirming a resolution but chose to remain tight-lipped about the details.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
