This is the beautiful moment a basking shark was spotted of the coast of Burghead in Scotland.

The graceful giant can be seen moving through the waters effortlessly in amazing drone footage captured by Will Hall.

Will, a professional wildlife photographer and presenter said: "They’re gentle giants and catch their prey by just swimming with their mouths open.

"They aren’t aggressive and keep themselves to themselves. This year though has been a spectacular year for them though and there were, at times, 55+ shark just off the coast. These animals will be around until late November and can be seen easily from the shore with a set of binoculars."
