A sudden fire broke out aboard a hundred-ton fishing vessel in southern in China.

Dramatic video filmed in Qionghai City in Hainan Province on September 27 shows thick smoke rising into the air from a fishing vessel docked at the Tanmen Port.

According to responses from staff at Qionghai City Emergency Management Bureau, the stricken vessel was a local fishing boat stationed at the dock at the time of the incident. The crew onboard managed a timely evacuation immediately after the flames erupted, averting a potentially catastrophic situation.

The local firefighting team rushed to the scene promptly, controlling and extinguishing the flames swiftly, ensuring the safety of the immediate area and preventing the blaze from spreading to adjacent vessels or infrastructure.

Currently, the investigation into the origins of the fire is underway. Authorities are meticulously examining the vessel and interviewing the crew members to ascertain the cause of the blaze.
