Tourists demanded refunds amid the poor crowd management on the opening day of halloween festivities at an amusement park in central China.

Video filmed in the city of Wuhan City in Hubei Province on October 14 shows visitors chanting in unison for a refund right at the park's entrance.

Many tourists were reportedly left disgruntled by the apparent lack of order and organisation, especially given the anticipation surrounding the event.

When approached for a comment on the situation, a representative from the amusement park stated, "Given that it was the inaugural day of our Halloween festivities, the turnout was exceptionally high. Visitors who were unable to enter can reach out to our customer service for a full refund."

The spokesperson also advised potential visitors to consider visiting at off-peak times to ensure a more enjoyable experience.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
