A stray dog snatched a heart-shaped light during an epic college love proposal in eastern China.

Funny video filmed in the city of Changzhou in Jiangsu Province on October 25 shows a dog taking one of the lights that formed a heart shape on the ground and running away during a love proposal.

The crowd erupted in gasps and chuckles, and a few quick-thinking students stepped in, ensuring the furry intruder didn't get far with the light.

One eyewitness, a student of the college, said: "We don't know where it went after, but the proposal did go on." The same student playfully added, "Seems like the senior dog didn't approve of this match."
