Villagers scrambled for scattered oranges after a transport truck tumbled down a slope in southern China.

The video was filmed in Ganzhou City in Jiangxi Province on November 20. Villagers were seen collecting the oranges, with some hauling away entire sacks or transporting them by vehicle.

Village officials had rushed to the scene to discourage the villagers from taking the oranges. They also issued warnings in the village's chatting group against picking up the fallen fruit.

According to the secretary, the villagers did not take a significant amount of oranges, mostly those that had spilt far onto the road. After the rescue operation, the truck was reloaded and continued on its journey.

21日，龙岗村书记回应称，村干部到现场进行了劝阻，并且在村里微信群进行了告诫不要捡拾，村民并没有没捡很多，都是洒在路上比较远的，货车被救援后，已经重新装车上路。
